so after looking at an instance that was broken my conclusion/assumption is that this is
simply caused by JMX not being used to safely stop the scanning while deployment is
occuring.
A simple restart of the war triggered the app to work - thus most likely the deployment
was incomplete on first scan.

debugged through the code and tested the new deployment command in the ssh-shell in the
instance. The patch is definitely needed since the outpout clearly shows that the old
deployment method does not work with AS6.
