Brian Fitzpatrick commented on JBIDE-13527:
-------------------------------------------
Yes, WISE is probably a good choice now that I know it's around and a JBoss project.
:)
The trick will be determining the minimum footprint for use in Eclipse. Looking at the lib
directory in the WISE core distribution, we're talking 76 jars and about 20 megs, so
cutting that down would be my first priority.
That said, though it looks like the WSDL functionality in WISE is cool, I'm not sure
how I'd use it to even generate a sample request message. Looks like it uses its
internal model when it does an invocation - and though I could just watch for HTTP calls
across the wire to intercept the message, that defeats the purpose of creating a SOAP
request message the user can poke through and populate.
So I'm not sure quite how we want to proceed here.
