Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBDS-3373:
-------------------------------------------
just to understand this fully - does it hurt anything technically ? Was the plugin removed
from eclipse wtp ?
The reason why we have the list of servers individually listed is that in the past wtp
server features included semi-broken jboss server adapters - thus we moved to include the
server adapters individually instead of the global feature. The intent was that we would
just take all the server adapters *minus* jboss servers so things would be pretty much
aligned on jboss tools vs jbds.
So for me I would say we should just continue this praxis unless there are some technical
reason to remove server adapters we just bundle to have alignment.
Remove org.eclipse.jst.server.generic.jonas plugin from JBDS

Key: JBDS-3373
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-3373
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: installer

com.jboss.devstudio.core.feature/feature.xml declares
{quote}
<import plugin="org.eclipse.jst.server.generic.jonas"/>
{quote}
I can't see *any* reason why we'd do that in 2015.
[~burrsutter], [~ldimaggio], [~maxandersen] : is there any client requirement about JOnAS
support?
[~rob.stryker] does WTP require that plugin in any way?
