Michelle Murray commented on JBIDE-16861:
-----------------------------------------
Further investigation shows that the link colour is subtly different in for example
gnome-terminal About dialogue under GTK 2 and 3. So it would appear to be a system-wide
issue and not Eclipse specific. In that case this doesn't appear to be something that
we can change. However, It is frustrating that the IDE now looks different on Linux GTK3
versus other systems.
One thing we do need to consider is that this change makes it harder to read the text when
there is also a blue-shade background, i.e. when mouse goes over start from scratch
listings. Should/can we change the background shade to a lighter one to give more contrast
with the now lighter shade of text? Or not since it only affects Linux GTK3 which is
borked in many ways anyway?

Text in JBoss Central 'Getting Started' tab is now light blue instead of the
darker blue in 7.1.1. This change makes it harder to read the text when there is also a
blue shaded background. Was this change intentional?
