Yahor Radtsevich resolved JBIDE-9495.
-------------------------------------
Resolution: Rejected
There is no difference what is selected, element or its content. For example the selected
text in the source part is ??#foo.bar??, and in the visual part it is ??Foo Bar??.
While editing and doing Cut and Paste, different users may expect different behaviors:
- Some users, like me, prefer that ??{#foo.bar}?? is inserted to guarantee similar
behavior of the code fragments.
- Other users, like you, Vitaly, prefer that ??Foo Bar?? is inserted.
Yes, the second behavior could be helpful if you are posting the string to a forum, or to
an instant messenger. But I cannot imagine a use case when it could be helpful in web
development.
Copy-Cut operations should use text selection from the visual part

When the focus is in the visual part of VPE CUT/COPY operation should use selected text
