All the project wizards under Start from scratch and Start from a sample in JBoss Central
generate Maven projects designed for deployment to Red Hat Enterprise Application
Servers/JBoss AS. As such, the generated projects require additional items to be installed
in order for them to build and run successfully. The requirements are listed on the first
page of each project wizard and they are detailed here.
*m2e and m2e-wtp*
These plug-ins are packaged as part of the IDE. They provides core Apache Maven support in
the IDE and connectors for configuring Java EE Maven projects as web projects. The project
examples require specific versions of these plug-ins to be available, which may not be the
case if you are using an older version of the IDE.
*JBoss Maven Tools*
This plug-in is packaged as part of JBoss Developer Studio/JBT. It provides additional
Maven support for developing Java EE applications deployed to Red Hat Enterprise
Application Servers/JBoss AS.

In this section list what the spectrum of project wizard requirements is and how to meet

inform IDE by doing xyz. JBT may have different requirements from JBDS (e.g., EAP vs AS)
so need to ensure both are covered using conditions.
