I think that Filter settings work with Seam Components view ok, but there may be another
problem of project loading.
Second screenshot (Screenshot1.png) shows projects www2 and www3 correctly - 'Seam
Components from Libraries' is selected which means that only components configured in
components.xml are displated.
First screenshot (Screenshot.png) shows project www2 correctly ('Seam Components from
Libraries' is not selected) but newly created project www3 is shown without
components declared in jars - and that may mean that jars are not loaded into Seam model
yet, or even failed to be loaded.
Screenshot2.png shows project s6 with 'Seam Components from Libraries' selected,
here component 'mailSession' has two sources - 1) components.xml that configures
the component locally in project 's6' (that is why component is included in the
view) and 2) class MailSession from jar - if we show a component, we show all its sources.
Now, in the case of project www3 from Screenshot.png and Screenshot1.png, what sources
there are in view for component 'mailSession'? If only components.xml - then it is
certainly problem of loading Seam model from jars. Denis would you please check it? By
now, I could not reproduce the problem.

Key: JBIDE-8338
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-8338
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Seam
Affects Versions: 3.2.0.CR2 (tentative)
Reporter: Denis Golovin
Assignee: Viacheslav Kabanovich
Fix For: 3.3.0.M1
Attachments: Screenshot.png, Screenshot1.png
That's how it looks in Saem Components View. It shows two projects and filter
settings. I created www2 project first, then changed filter settings as shown on
screenshot, then created second www3 project and it got me to view state shown on below.

Here is one more example of view content and filter settings
