Radim Hopp commented on JBIDE-10823:
------------------------------------
Just to be sure what to verify for this jira, I tried to summarize what has been done
here:
* replaced HTML5 quickstart
* some cosmetic changes (icons, removing of "AS 7" from JBoss Quickstarts, ...)
* change helloworld, kitchensink, nuberguess to depend and run on JBoss AS 7.1 (does this
include 7.1.1?)
* updated cheatsheets.xml
As I understood, other things discussed here are done in separate jiras (mainly
[
JBIDE-11285|https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-11285])
Thanks for any response.
JBoss Central Quickstarts Updates
---------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-10823
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-10823
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: central
Reporter: Burr Sutter
Assignee: Snjezana Peco
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 3.3.0.Beta1
Attachments: 0001-JBIDE-10823-JBoss-Central-Quickstarts-Updates.patch,
jbide-10823.patch, JBossCentral_Quickstarts.ppt, JBoss_Central_Quickstarts.png
The attached PPT identified improvements to the JBoss Central Quickstarts (aka Project
Examples) section.
The ultimate goal is to allow the quickstarts to be "server" updateable - where
we can push changes to the list via a server-side change with zero impact to the running
JBoss Tools & JBDS instances - the end-user simply need refresh the section of JBoss
Central. With beta, we will identify the first 10 quickstarts and with GA we will likely
have around 15. The remaining quickstarts (20+) can be available in Project Examples
dialog.
