The timestamp changes, the file size changes, etc, but hte server is not picking up the new jar as a change. It's possible that there's some logic in the deployment scanner that's making it impossible to pick up the changes after an incremental update. It's clear to me that the zip timestamp changes, the filesize changes, but the app server refuses to pick up the change unless I do a full publish.
