Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-13993:
------------------------------------------
usage is currently only reporting x686 system since it uses a linux user-agent which
hard-codes x686:
{code:title=org.jboss.tools.usage.googleanalytics.eclipse.EclipseUserAgent}
private static final String USERAGENT_LINUX = "{0}/{1} (X11; U; Linux i686;
{3})"; //$NON-NLS-1$
{code}
The usage plugin should inspect
{code}
is64bit = (System.getProperty("os.arch").indexOf("64") != -1);
{code}
This will report the architecture of the JVM only. Since one can run a 32bit JVM on a
64bit system this wont be completely accurate though
(
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1856565/how-do-you-determine-32-or-64-...).
usage should report x86_64 among linux systems correctly (currently
only reports x686)
