Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-865:
-----------------------------------
Thanks for the tip. I will try to fix this as soon as I can.
Once this is fixed, the .bat will not be executed, however, it will access the classes in
shutdown.jar, which is what the stop button in the servers view or the jboss servers view
does right now.
I'll try to fix this asap.
Stop Button for AS doesn't invoke bin/shutdown.bat

Key: JBIDE-865
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-865
Project: JBoss Tools
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.Beta3
Environment: JBossTools Nightly 20070828, JDK 1.6.0_02, Eclipse 3.3, WTP 2.0
20070801, WinXP SP2
Reporter: Juergen Zimmermann
Assigned To: Rob Stryker
Attachments: screenshot-1.jpg
JBoss servers configured via pure WTP are invoking the shutdown script to do a graceful
shutdown.
Pressing the stop button of JBossAS just terminates the server. No output is seen in the
console to indicate that the server was gracefully shut down.
