Dietrich Schulten commented on JBIDE-4972:
------------------------------------------
I have found an important point.
I failed to set Deploy as ear on the Seam Runtime page of the wizard, the error caused by
a missing mvel dependency in parent occurs only when you leave the default selection
"as war" active.
Now I have a complete set of projects that shows no errors :-)
Furthermore I noticed that eclipse does not show the ear and ejb icons on the projects,
and several other things, but I wanted to let you know this asap so that you can stop
looking in the wrong direction.
Next, I'll try the seam support on my newly created projects.
Thank you very much!
Dietrich
No ejb and ear project are created as new Maven-based Seam Web
Project

Key: JBIDE-4972
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-4972
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.M3, 3.1.0.M4
Environment: Windows, Seam 2.2.0 and 2.1.2 (tried both)
Maven Integration for Eclipse
(Required) 0.9.9.200909092308 org.maven.ide.eclipse.feature.feature.group
JBoss Maven
Integration 1.0.0.v200910050601N-H153-M4 org.jboss.tools.maven.feature.feature.group
Reporter: Dietrich Schulten
Assignee: Snjezana Peco
Attachments: maven-seam-webproject-error.log
When I create a Seam Web Project with JBoss Tools 3.1 M3 as shown here:
http://www.screencast.com/users/Snjeza/folders/Jing/media/3d61f7d6-0fad-4...
then only three projects are created (testmaven-parent, testmaven-test and a testmaven
war project) rather than five; in other words, the -ejb and the -ear project are missing.
Furthermore, in the parent pom I had to add the dependency to mvel14 with version
property:
group: org.mvel
artifact: mvel14
version: ${mvel.version}
