[~mhusnain], no, that's definitely not right. You cannot change support matrix for
past releases.
This change only applies to JBDS 9.1 (and will be inherited by JBDS 10 when the time
comes).
And we also want to change OS X supported version (i.e. support the latest two in JBDS 9.1
- OS X Yosemite (10.10) and OS X El Capitan (10.11)), it's probably best to just
create a new table for JBDS 9.1.
I'm not sure if there was a request for the OS X change somewhere. I'm pretty sure
I brought it up somewhere. But it seems there is no requirement. I made a JIRA here:

We should update the support matrix of JBDS to include the latest Fedora releases: 22 and
23. At the same time, 21 can be dropped.
