Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-12084:
------------------------------------
Spinning:
requirements-bootstrap should not re-download existing zips/jars if
already on disk -- provide an md5 hash check to improve performance?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-12084
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-12084
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS/Servers, testing, UpStream
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.CR1
Reporter: Nick Boldt
Assignee: Nick Boldt
Fix For: 3.4.0.M1
https://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/view/DevStudio/view/DevStudio_Trunk/jo...
shows that runs can take between 2.5h - 3.5h when successful, longer when failing (timeout
or bad rhts slave).
Suggest we implement some sort of caching / check-if-already-exist-and-is-a-valid-archive
mechanism to allow adding a single new req into the pool w/o having to re-download the
whole pool. In other words, we need to be able to bootstrap the bootstrapper.
