I've opened index.xhtml on Eclipse 3.4.2 on WIndows OS with jdk1.6.0_07 without any
problem.
According to the log file this error seems to be connected with seam but not the file
itself.
Could you attach the whole project, or necessary page and classes structure? It would help
us to find the reason.

We still can't reproduce this issue. Does eclipse crashes on index.xhtml file only or
it's crashes on any xhtml file? Does it's still crashes if you try to use java 5
instead of java 6?

I've only noticed it on my index.xhtml files. It also only happens when i use the
preview or visual source view

It's can be caused that used some style parameters, but wihout styles from project we
can't say exatly why it's happend. Can you create small project, copy here from
you project index.xhtml and other files, and when it' will be reproduceble on you test
project attach project to issue?

Thanks Krasimir Goutcev , looks like this issue of one native framework that we use
(xulrunner), issues like this has been occure early (JBIDE-3209) for example. It's
imposible to fix this issue without possibility to reproduce, for now it's not

I'm not sure what you're asking for (that is, what is a standalone plugin). Jboss
tools package was installed in both eclipse versions via software updates mechanism.
