Hi,
Could it be possible to do a seperate release, without WTP for the one who already have it
?
In the same time, WTP is not the only plugin that is encapsulated, i think about EMF too.
Cheers,
Stéphane
JBossIDE could reference WTP instead of encapsulate it
------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-338
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-338
Project: JBoss IDE
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossIDE Core
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.Alpha
Reporter: Ramiz Ismailov
Assigned To: Marshall Culpepper
I use original WTP from
eclipse.org.
As I install new version of JBossIDE almost everytime I have to remove encapsulated WTP
components and replace with original WTP manually, because, naturally, original WTP
appears to be newer (and sometimes stable).
It would be nice to have a release of JBossIDE, which references WTP (e.g. in requires
section of feature.xml) instead of encapsulating it.
Removing WTP jars would also make JBossIDE ZIP itself substantly smaller.
