[~bassettpolpy] I suppose you're referring to
https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_JBoss_Develope...
Yes, Maven, the build tool, is distributed with JBoss Developer Studio, so you don't
need to install that. What you do need to set up is maven repositories to get
ticketmonster dependencies from. Obviously
"path/to/jboss-eap-6.x.y-maven-repository" is not the real path, you need to use
the path where you extracted the jboss eap maven repo zip that you can download from
access.redhat.com. Alternatively, you can use the online repository: In the Add Maven
Repository dialog, in the Profile ID field at the top, select
"redhat-techpreview-all-repository" in the drop down menu. This will add
http://maven.repository.redhat.com/techpreview/all/ to your settings.xml and that should
satisfy the dependencies.
[~mmurray] I guess the potential action item for docs is that we could document the
alternative to use the online repo. It's still marked as tech preview though, so I
wonder if we should recommend it in the docs. To be sure, it makes it much more easier to
add the repo. And if you download eap from
jboss.org/products, you typically don't
even have access to the maven repo zip (unless you have a CSP subscription).
Even if we only stick with the zip, we should probably add a note explaining that
you're expected to download the maven repo zip first.
