Removing validation was not the ideal move: it makes the TP we publish totally unusable and causes a lot of errors. So I simply removed the bad features from TP (as a temporary workaround) so we can still produce good-enough TP to avoid blocking many users/builds. BTW, the flag to skip TP validation could be part of the mojo so it wouldn't be necessary to define it in the pom.xml.
