Have you tried a filtered view?
https://jenkins.mw.lab.eng.bos.redhat.com/hudson/view/DevStudio/view/DevS... for
example has less jobs than the FULL internal jenkins.mw, with its 100s of jobs, slaves,
build queue to the moon, etc. 

Maybe the mylyn connector is just overloaded?
