Nick Boldt commented on JBDS-703:
---------------------------------
Do you have file hs_err_pid*.log in the directory where you start
Eclipse from (probably in your home directory)?
See attached.
Can you reproduce the issue when using pure Eclipse?
Using eclipse-platform-3.4.2-linux-gtk.tar.gz, I can load
www.jboss.org without a crash.
Same for
www.mozilla.org,
www.eclipse.org, igoogle.ca.
Can you reproduce the issue if you add the following option to JBDS:
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=<JBDS_HOME>/studio/eclipse/plugins/org.mozilla.xulrunner.gtk.linux.x86_1.8.1.3-20070904/xulrunner
Still crashes.
Which Linux distro and which GTK version are you using?
Current Fedora 10 (updated as recently as April 17)
$ pkg-config --modversion gtk\+-2.0
2.14.7
$ rpm -qa gtk2
gtk2-2.14.7-7.fc10.i386
$ rpm -qa xulrunner
xulrunner-1.9.0.8-1.fc10.i386
JBDS 2 + Linux gtk 32-bit + internal browser = crash; XulRunner
problem?
