Ben Schofield commented on MODCLUSTER-79:
-----------------------------------------
I was originally thinking the output would be formatted to match httpd.conf configs used
by mod_proxy and mod_proxy_balancer. So in theory you could dump the mod_cluster dynamic
config to a file and use it in a statically configured apache server. This way the
mod_proxy and mod_proxy_balancer documentation would be relevant to understanding what
mod_balancer is doing under the covers. Very helpful for folks like myself who are
familiar with load balancing in mod_jk and the WebSphere plugin but are new to mod_proxy
and mod_proxy_balancer.
The information in the attached screen shot is similar to what is displayed on the
mod_cluster-manager page. I don't see a need to replicate this information in two
places.
View in memory mod_proxy and mod_proxy_balancer configuration

Key: MODCLUSTER-79
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/MODCLUSTER-79
Project: mod_cluster
Issue Type: Feature Request
Affects Versions: 1.0.0.GA
Environment: All
Reporter: Ben Schofield
Assignee: Jean-Frederic Clere
Fix For: 1.0.1.GA
Attachments: Screenshot.png
To facilitate debugging and troubleshooting it would be helpful to be able to easily view
the in memory configuration of mod_proxy and mod_proxy_balancer. Maybe have config files
that stay in sync with the in memory changes or an option in the mod_cluster-manager to
dump the current configuration.
