We don't currently expose the "translator" term in our Importers though we
are matching up a translator "name" with a given importer type. This translator
"name" get's persisted in the Source model along with other connection
profile info.
I think we need to look over the whole use-case here and come up with a clearer picture of
what the user is really trying to do and what translator management capabilities they
want. And keep in mind that users will be importing WITHOUT a Teiid Server running.

Currently "DefaultServiceMode" can only set on the WS translator extension
property, which makes impossible for doing a preview from the Designer. In Designer you
can only set translator overrides during VDB creation, however preview does not give any
option for overrides. It quite possible in given service some calls may be done using
MESSAGE, some with PAYLOAD. Adding a optional parmeter will solve these issues.
