[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-5164) Infinispan hotrod translator aggregate functions issues
by Van Halbert (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-5164?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin... ]
Van Halbert commented on TEIID-5164:
------------------------------------
Found the issue and it was that the projectDocumentAttributes was empty when it cam time for InfinispanResponse.buildRow to be called. By changing IckleConversionVisitor.visit(DerivedColumn) method to add the projectedDocumentAttribute for the function, the aggregate queries were able to run.
{code}
...
else if (obj.getExpression() instanceof Function) {
...
this.projectedDocumentAttributes.put(obj.getAlias(),
func.getType());

> Cell of type timestamp is reformatted after an update. Data inserted from teiid are in format "yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss[.fffffffff]", which is reformatted to "dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss[.fffffffff]". Subsequent update of such row throws exception "Could not convert source column Source.smalla.timestampvalue to the expected runtime type timestamp".

I believe I do have a fix. And also appears that push down functions (like count) where failing because of this too.
Change that, only count(*) works, non of the others work when a column is specified.
