Seems like the platform default should be sufficient unless you want xa support.
I think the issue is that we designed
https://github.com/teiid/teiid-spring-boot/blob/master/starter/src/main/j...
for the JPA case - where the caller was managing the transaction boundary. In the vdb
world we're again in charge of initiating/committing the transaction - so we hit a
SystemException. We need to update that logic to interact better with the platform
transaction manager.

Trying to use the teiid-spring-boot/samples/odata project, I am not able to Create,
Update or Delete an entity. Tried on Customer, with Delete I get back code: TEIID30504
with message: "TEIID30504 accounts: 23503 TEIID11013:TEIID11004 Error executing
statement(s): [SQL: DELETE FROM "CUSTOMER" WHERE
"CUSTOMER"."SSN" = 'CST01002']". With Create (Post) I get
code: TEIID30528 with message: "TEIID30528 javax.transaction.SystemException".
