Hi all,
Some of you already met Gorkem, but for those who haven't he is working on tooling for
Aerogear, currently specifically on Hybrid mobile applications using Apache Cordova.
I've added a aerogear-hybrid component into https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE
at https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE/component/12317246
It's utterly empty right now but i'm sure Gorkem and Aerogear will start feeding
it issues ;)
We'll create a jbosstools-aerogear repository in jbosstools github org once Gorkem is
ready for it.

Not currently - the users of hybrid tooling might use vjet provided by other parts of the
tools. hybrid tooling is more about setting up a cordova project and generate and launch
android/xcode projects from it.
If hybrid needs improvments to javascript that is better done in working with eclipse JSDT
and VJET projects via JBoss Tools JST tooling (Victor is working on this part)

We've talked about it and its of course a possibility but right now we are going to
crawl before walking.

Not sure what this would be - its just javascript?

Seems to me that those tools add
some API and would allow an "Export as
APK..." or "Deploy as Android application..." from an HTML5/JavaScript
project.

Seems to me that those tools add some API and would allow an "Export as APK..."
or "Deploy as Android application..." from an HTML5/JavaScript project.
The first of those will be "Run On iOS Simulator" and move to Android
emulator/device. It will not be out of any HTML5/JavaScript project but rather a cordova
project at least at the beginning.

Don't really think so - just because a project is HTML5/JavaScript does not mean it is
usable in a cordova context or vice versa.
