> Currently the dialog showing up when committing/pushing is confusing since it says there are no changes which is not correct if comparing to opehsfnit remote repo.
> Should make a check against the fetched upstream and see what has changed since that is a fast local operation.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-15807) Eclipe 4.4M3 with jbosstoolstarget-4.40.0.Alpa1-SNAPSHOT target platform does not start
by Mickael Istria (JIRA)
Mickael Istria commented on JBIDE-15807:
----------------------------------------
Fastest approach to find out the cause of this memory leak is probably to get a head dump (with jmap, visual vm or -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError for examples) and analyze it with tools such as Eclipse MAT.

> # ASSERT: make sure you already have 2 applications, one of those is a jenkins type app
> # ASSERT: make sure you have a "Dynamic Web Project" in your eclipse workspace
> # EXEC: lauch the OpenShift Application Wizard: create a new app (now you have 5 applications) and embed the jenkins client to it.
> # EXEC: on the last wizard page: uncheck "Create new", choose your "Dynamic Web Project" and hit "Finish"
> # EXEC: log into your jenkins instance and see if your app is building
> Result:
> The jenkins job is waiting for a slave to get available
> The reason is that jenkins needs an additional builder application. You already reached your 3 apps quota and jenkins therefore cannot build your app.

> When the user wants to import an OpenShift application into an existing project, a set of changes will have to be performed.
> We could provide the user with a "Review changes" dialog so that he can assert that the changes that will be performed are correct and won't erase/break his previous files (or configuration).

> currently cartridges are just listed with their (verbose) name, either in the application type combo or in the list of embeddable cartridges. The names are now verbose but we're still missing descriptions as provided in the Web-UI:

> link to JBIDE-10514 , a UI is required for this setting.
> 1. Create a new application in wizard and allow to create a new project in the workspace
> 2. Fix all the bugs so that it compiles (delete modules.jsp, add java version 1.6 to pom.xml, reload project configuration)
> 3. Modify all your build stuff so the project does NOT deploy to root
> 4. Change your context root to match what your setting is in the build
> 5. Right click the project and select Run as... + Run on server
> 6. Choose associated openshift server
> 7. Result - No page found due to the incorrect URL. It's still using root instead of your new custom context root
> A UI is required for this setting
