> In 1.1 the cartridges that you get reported when listing them on a application changed (IApplication#getEmbeddedCartridges):
> * 1.0:
> would report the embedded cartridges only
> * 1.1:
> would report the embedded cartridges and the application type (cartridge)
> !app-type-listed-as-embedded.png!
> see here: https://github.com/openshift/crankcase/pull/224
> The error that this caused was discussed here:
> OpenShift pushed the discussed change (application-type reported as embedded cartridge) to protocol v1.1 and fixed the issue on the server-side. Our client, that currently requests protocol v1.0 has no issue since the fix. We have to make sure we support protocol 1.1 and are able to handle this correctly.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-13283) Use Akamai for Target-Platform, Mirror, releases stuff
by Mickael Istria (JIRA)
Mickael Istria edited comment on JBIDE-13283 at 5/7/13 8:08 AM:
----------------------------------------------------------------
I simply imported the jbosstools-multiple.target in my workspace, opened it and clicked "Set as target-platform" in target editor.
However, with such a big amount of data and such a far away server, it's very possible that the time to get TP can be "elastic" depending on your ISP performances and the time of the day.

> All our repositories that are either mirrors or target-platform are not updated often. Then we could use Akamai to improve performances. At least these folders would be good:
> * http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/
> * http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/stable/

> Search field disappears, when Central editor is shrinked to certain width.
> Would it be possible either move the search field under buttons and "show on startup" checkbox or define some minimal width.
> Thanks
