[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2753) Merge "Google Plugin + Web Toolkit" + "Google Web Toolkit Designer"
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
Nick Boldt commented on JBDS-2753:
----------------------------------
Do any project examples currently refer to these connectors?
Does this change require that we simply drop the second connector in favour of the first (merging its features into the first), or should we rename the first connector while we're at it?

> Do we need to keep the two Google Web Toolkit options separate? They were separated because they came in at different intervals, now it is unclear to me if they need to remain separate.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-15435) "installed plugins" detection seems fishy in project examples / central
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
Nick Boldt edited comment on JBIDE-15435 at 9/5/13 12:36 PM:

[~maxandersen] [~fbricon] can you provide steps to reproduce and/or screenshots? And a list of installed plugins/features in the two cases?
Also, what functionality is missing?
(BTW, I'm going to start using the "needinfo" label on JIRAs like these which clearly need more info before they're processable.)

> Following JBDS-2753, [~maxandersen] says he installed the JBoss GWT connector, which dragged the GPE plugins.
> Some functionality seem missing according to Max (which ones?). In the JBoss Central 'software updates' page, the GWT/GPE connector is shown as missing. In the GWT example wizard, the feature appears as installed. One of the 2 is wrong, obviously.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2734) Forge 2 in JBDS
by Lincoln Baxter III (JIRA)
Lincoln Baxter III commented on JBDS-2734:
------------------------------------------
Max, to answer your question. These functions will be available via the Forge 2 quick-menu unless you/burr want to add a quick link, or something else, to JBoss Central/elsewhere. In which case, Koen will need to work on those, though I intend to task him with porting the Hibernate Tools plugin to Forge 2 in the immediate term.
