by Jiri Peterka (JIRA)
Jiri Peterka resolved JBIDE-15609.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Done
Issue was resolved by adding deep MD5 archive check.
> versionwatch should ignore when there's a folder & jar which are identical

> Key: JBIDE-15609
> URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-15609
> Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
> Issue Type: Enhancement
> Components: build, qa
> Affects Versions: 4.1.1.Alpha2
> Reporter: Nick Boldt
> Assignee: Jiri Peterka
> Priority: Optional
> Fix For: 4.2.2.Final
>
>
> A while ago I added a facility to jar up feature and plugin folders so they could have their md5 sums compared.
> Now, the vwatch tool complains when there's a folder and a jar present.
> Two possible solutions to this come to mind:
> a) ignore this - do not report as *{color:red}a problem{color}*
> b) whenever a folder is jarred up, delete the source folder, so the above condition cannot occur

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-19341) JAX-RS Resource wizard should allow to use various media types
by Marián Labuda (JIRA)
Marián Labuda created JBIDE-19341:
-------------------------------------
Summary: JAX-RS Resource wizard should allow to use various media types
Key: JBIDE-19341
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-19341
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: webservices
Affects Versions: 4.3.0.Alpha1
Reporter: Marián Labuda
JAX-RS Resource wizard allows to create a new Endpoint and use several predefined media types for consume and produce. This set of media types is a list just of few of them, even it's the most often media types. It would be nice to add also own media type (after hitting the Add button), not just choose from predefined.

> JAX-RS resource creation wizard shows Media Types as "application/json" and "application/xml". However the generated resource does not use them.
> This is confusing. I believe this might be more relevant if this a target Entity is specified as well. So the UI needs cleanup.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3162) Change "jboss-eap" to "JBoss Enterprise Application Platform"
by Rob Stryker (JIRA)
Rob Stryker updated JBDS-3162:
------------------------------
Attachment: JBDS-3162.suggested.png
I've made a PR that changes generated servers to use a short-form name for all. Long form names take up a lot of real-estate and make it hard to reposition the Servers view comfortably.
This is the patch I vote for. https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-server/pull/330
Attached is a screenshot showing the new potential names. I realize not all abreviated names are official, but I think we should make a usecase for adding FSW as a proper abreviation upstream. It's short-sighted to ignore the obvious solution of using short-form names.
I think this fix is the best for our users.

> When installing JBDS+EAP (same installer), the default name under the Servers tab is "jboss-eap". This is a request to have that default server name changed to "JBoss Enterprise Application Platform".
> And the default runtime name to "JBoss EAP Runtime".
