This is one such usage: https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-archetypes/blob/master/jboss-for... It may be ok to change the command used, since it is consumed by JBT; a release of the archetype is required. However, there is a second use in WFK: https://github.com/jboss-developer/jboss-wfk-quickstarts/blob/2.7.x/kitch... and I'm not sure when these would be updated and released and in what project. What we *could* consider is to use "~/Library/Application Support/jbdevstudio.app" (Actually, we should probably move to jbevstudio9.app to avoid version overlap in future) which I believe is the "proper" way to put user specific content.
