[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21924) Various broken icons in menus on OS X
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina created JBIDE-21924:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Various broken icons in menus on OS X
Key: JBIDE-21924
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21924
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: upstream
Affects Versions: 4.3.1.CR1
Reporter: Martin Malina
For some time now I've had problems with icons disappearing or just being malformed in Eclipse IDE. I thought it was connected to the fact that I was running JBDS using cli which is not the right way (I did this to overcome an issue where cdk was missing PATH).
But now I'm running JBDS normally and I still have this issue.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21797) Fails to start the CDK server when it's was already started from CLI
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-21797:
---------------------------------------
I haven't seen this problem for some time now. But I was using vagrant 1.7 and you're saying it was caused by changes in vagrant 1.8.1 output. So I updated to vagrant 1.8.1 now and it still works for me. Closing.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21843) CDK Poller always fails on OSX
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-21843:
---------------------------------------
ok, so maybe this is somehow connected to changes in newer vagrant? I had 1.7.x until today, now I updated to 1.8.1. If it had anything to do with the version, then I verified it now. But if it was something else, I would still appreciate if Fred could verify.

> When I create a new OS3 application and then I want to create a new server adapter, an image for this application has to be built and pushed to OpenShift's local image registry. If build is still running, what is often happening on internal OSE instance (it takes minutes - pushing of images), then there is an error message that loading of image failed. User without solid overview of OS3 background would not be able to figure out why it is happening, because even Image stream is shown, but the image is not there yet.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21843) CDK Poller always fails on OSX
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-21843:
---------------------------------------
[~fbricon], can you verify it's fixed for you now? Previously I had various problems with PATH on OS X, but it all got fixed for me in JBIDE-21170 which I verified on March 8, but your report was after that.
I had one occasion when cdk start worked, but then failed due to failing poller - but that was long ago.

> Starting the CDK on OSX always fails. Whether it was already started from CLI or not.
> The vagrant up command is properly executed, you can see the output in the console, but it ends up with a message "Server CDK Server Adapter at localhost failed to start."
> I traced the problem back to:

> VagrantPoller.onePing(IServer, String) line: 160
> VagrantPoller.onePing(IServer) line: 138

Make sure VirtualBox is properly installed.\nVagrant uses the `VBoxManage` binary that ships with VirtualBox%!(VAGRANT_COMMA) and requires\nthis to be available on the PATH.
