[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21933) [openshift server] Wire up module-restart / republish for hot-code replace
by Rob Stryker (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21933?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-21933:
-------------------------------------
1) Start CDK in eclipse
2) Expand openshift connection, create a project
3) Create a java application, something like eap-basic-s2i (kitchensink basically)
4) Publish the application, make sure the app runs and is visible in web browser
5) Change an xhtml file, verify changes are made.
6) Change the body of a method inside a .java file. This is a non-breaking change, and HCR should update future responses immediately.
7) Change a method signature. Verify that a hotcode-replace dialog appears and offers 3 options.

> I've made this a subtask because it is related to but not a core piece of enabling module-restart. This jira is for allowing more options on hotcode-replace failure.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22164) Enable addition of secrets for OpenShift 3 projects
by Fred Bricon (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-22164?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Fred Bricon commented on JBIDE-22164:
-------------------------------------
Sorry I don't understand what a secret is in this context. Is there an OpenShift concept behind it? Do you have some doc?

> Not every developer will use only public git and docker repositories. Or there are other reasons for usage of secrets. It would be nice if we would have some simple wizard to add a secret for OpenShift project/connection (would be accessible for all projects of a connection).

by Andrej Podhradsky (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTIS-628?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.... ]
Andrej Podhradsky closed JBTIS-628.
-----------------------------------
In that case we can close this issue. Paul, thank you for the explanation!

> Reason for this failure is that you're pulling from TWO versions of JBT:

> * 3.0.0.Final-v20151001-1531-B45
> You should only be pulling from ONE.
> Your composites have 3 or 4 different copies of the same features. And of those, there are 3 different VERSIONS. See screenshots. This is terribly wrong. You should only need to include a single version, and don't need to include 3-4 copies.

[JBoss JIRA] (TOOLSDOC-721) JBDS 9.1 GA: Installer- Min sys req information
by Misha Ali (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TOOLSDOC-721?page=com.atlassian.jira.plug... ]
Misha Ali commented on TOOLSDOC-721:
------------------------------------
Denis suggests these:
Considering all these numbers I would suggest:
1. Minimum configuration:
8G RAM;
10G + 2 * 8G + 5G = 31G;
CPU Intel i3 2GHz
2. Recommended configuration:
16G RAM;
10G + 2 * 16G + 5G = 47G;
CPU Intel i5 2GHz or better
Checking with Denis, Alexey and Martin about whether we are OK to use this for official docs.
