I would try a local instance. Maybe there is an issue on staging where
traffic is not being allowed. If you are unable to set this up with the
binary then it obviously is not an issue with jbt since jbt uses the
binary.

As a user I want to be able to easily set up port forwarding to my application
Test by:
# Start OpenShift
# Create app from attached template
# Right Click on "Hello-world Pod" > Forward Ports
# Check find open ports
# Start Port forwarding
# In a terminal "curl localhost:<assigned local port>"
# Expect "Hello OpenShift"
