Viacheslav Kabanovich commented on JBIDE-1655:
----------------------------------------------
The log indicates that file .settings/org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml may be corrupted.
I have tried to corrupt it in different ways and in some cases problems appeared at work
with project, but never the exact problem described in this issue.
Chris, could you please
1) Attach .settings/org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml and .project files of your project.
2) Look at your project in Web Projects View (Web Development perspective) and if it seems
strange comparing to a normal JSF project, attach a picture.
3) Try to fix the corrupted project as follows (it helps in all cases I have tried):
a) Perform Eclipse action 'Remove JSF Capabilities';
b) Close Eclipse;
c) Remove manually file .settings/org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml
d) Reopen Eclipse;
e) Perform Eclipse action 'Add JSF Capabilities';
Cannot add new files to Seam project

URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-1655
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: core
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.GA
Environment: Windows XP SP2
JBoss Tools 2.0GA with Eclipse 3.3 Europa
Reporter: Chris Simons
Assigned To: Viacheslav Kabanovich
Fix For: 2.0.1
Attachments: jbosstools-diagnostics-20080128135249.zip, screenshot-1.jpg,
screenshot-2.jpg, unable to create XHTML file.jpg
Since upgrading to Seam 2.0 runtimes within JBoss Tools, I am only able to create new
XHTML files by copying an existing file and renaming it.
Please see screenshot.
I can specify the folder by using "Browse" or typing it in myself; I then type
in a file name.
The messages is always: "Cannot create file in specified folder."
