Ah, it seems this happened because I had no profile specified initially. I filled one in
manually in the Properties > Maven dialog, then the window came up! After that, it
works whether I have a profile selected or not. Strange.
For some reason it's not reacting to the keybinding Ctrl+Alt+P. I can click on the
icon to make it come up. If I change the keybinding to something else, like Ctrl+Alt+0, it
works.
Btw, I'm using Ubuntu Natty (Unity).

Primary usecase for us: Arquillian users have to go through project preferences to toggle
profiles to enable/disable arquillian classpath containers.
Challenges:
When applying to an aggregator pom, should ask user if he wish to add/remove the same
profiles on aggregated modules
UI suggestions:
run/debug style combobox's with dropdown to easy enable/disable often used profiles
IAM style view for enable/disabling
