I found this ugly workaround to implement a process timeout in Java 7 : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/808276/how-to-add-a-timeout-value-when... The alternative is to raise the Java BREE to JavaSE-1.8. But that was something [~maxandersen] wasn't keen on doing when the whole JBDS requirement bumped to Java 8 (we want to be able to rollback to using Java 7 if the users demand it)
