Is it not enough to tell the user the required space (10G). How much space is then needed for OS or user sources will vary. I guess what we should take into though is the size of the running VM. The CDK defines per default a 40 GB partition. That's the maximum the VM data can grow to w/o config changes. This happens dynamically. Right now for example my CDK VM takes 8GB. That's just running OpenShift and a couple of apps. Maybe that's where Denis'es 2 * 16GB come from. So for me I would say min required disk space for installing and running the CDK is ~20 GB.
