Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-4319:
-----------------------------------
As of today we have:
build.xml and launcher
build.properties for building on Fedora (uses 4 reqs: Eclipse, WTP, EMF, XSD)
partial map file (see TODOs in that file)
missing "all tests" feature
incomplete details in testing.properties re: which test plugins and which suites to run
(see TODOs in that file)
Work will progress in here:
https://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbosstools/trunk/jbpm/releng/org.jboss.tools....
Once the map is complete, we can try building w/o the tests, but ultimately we need the
tests to be built & run too. Note that *running* tests only works on Linux at the
moment, but I have a feeling that they'll work on Mac OS X Server too (I discovered
you can install X, so maybe we can also have multiple display ports active on a Mac
server, if not a Mac desktop.) Cannot run on Windows until I translate runtests.sh into
runtests.cmd (as a simple Ant wrapper for runtests.xml)
Include jbpm4 into build
------------------------
Key: JBIDE-4319
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-4319
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Task
Components: Build/Releng, jbpm
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Koen Aers
Fix For: 3.1.0.M2
We should get jbpm4 into the jbosstools build so it becomes accessible and available for
testing.
As discussed on phone we will initially just want this in the JBT build, but not in JBDS
and we are ok with having jbpm3 and jpbm4 overlap with functionallity for a while as long
as when we reach GA the two will be aligned/compatible.
Koen, first step is for you to add info here on which svn/cvs plugins/features we need to
include and then reassign this to Nick who can help out integrate it into our current
build.
