If I unfold the connection, stop the container and then refresh the connection, the error
child is shown correctly:

[~jcantrill] I'm wondering though if we shouldnt display a different information: a
more explicit explanation of the error instead of the exception type. Something like
"Error listing resources: connection refused"?
Explorer: If you have an erroring v3 connection, refresh has no
visible effect
