Victor Rubezhny commented on JBIDE-9872:
----------------------------------------
Exactly the same. And I made a content describer which does not treat inc file as
"html"-like file in case it has no jsp/html content.
So, by default (for example, empty *.inc file) is not treated as "html", as this
lets PDT (if installed) to deal with such files.
Html editor should be able to show html files even though they
don't end in .html

https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-9872
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: jsp/jsf/xml source editing
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Alexey Kazakov
Fix For: 3.3.0.Beta1
take a working index.html and rename it to index.php and suddenly the editor don't
want to show it complaining about non matching content type.
rename back to .html and it works fine.
Can't we make the editor accept content without having it registered as supporter of
the identified content type?
