That we must somehow have missed testing JBDS 8.0.0 upgrading to a 8.0.2 world. if QE only tested 8.0.0.GA with 8.0.0.GA content then we have not actually tested 8.0.0 to 8.0.2 upgrade paths. [~ldimaggio] lets keep projects from archetypes etc. out of this (for now) and let us just focus up on the update/install scenarios. What is missing here is pretty straightforward - testing of installing content from JBoss Central in JBDS 8.0.0 when the updatesite content is updated to 8.0.2. This should have been tested by using the central discovery urls made available by release engineering for testing. Looking at the raw error i'm not sure why p2 remediation does not suggest to update Developer Studio overall feature instead of uninstalling things piecemal.
