Brian Fitzpatrick commented on JBIDE-5653:
------------------------------------------
Hey Slava... This is all great stuff. And you managed to take care of one page of the
requests from the PDF as well...
Since we're trying to focus a bit on usability (based on a conversation with Max), if
you have some time to look at the following bits, that would be great:
1) In the Route List table on the Content Based Router Action properties page... Can you
add "Expression" as another column that's visible to the user in the table
for any Route To destinations?
2) On the "Route To" dialog that appears when you add a new destination...
a) Destination Name should not be required, in fact should only show up if the CBR action
has a "Rule Set"
b) This screen should also have an "Expression" text box if the CBR action does
not have a "Rule Set".
c) Service Name and Service Category should be required
These are all from the attached PDF.
Route To Dialog in jboss-esb.xml editor service category, service
name

Key: JBIDE-5653
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-5653
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: esb
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.CR1
Reporter: Burr Sutter
Assignee: Viacheslav Kabanovich
Fix For: 3.1.0.CR2
Attachments: CBR.pdf, new-java-class.jpg, route_to_dialog.jpg
Original Estimate: 0 minutes
Remaining Estimate: 0 minutes
There are two issues with the Route To dialog in the jboss-esb.xml editor.
1) as so as my first keystroke falls in the Destination Name field an error message pops
up related to Service Name. Well, I have not even had a chance to type in a Service Name.
This is a little bit confusing.
2) Service Category should also be mandatory.
