For now the only thing the project examples can safely assume/target is what JBDS installs
by default.
The IDE should not be the one to download seam, AS etc.
Seperate plugin sounds ok to me - I assume you mean an additional plugin under
projectexamples or?

Let's create a seperate project eample "Seam Tutorials" file which includes
as close as possible exmpales for the apps shown in the Seam tutorials
(http://docs.jboss.org/seam/2.1.1.GA/reference/en-US/html/tutorial.html#re...)
Registration, clickable list, Seam and jbpm, Seam page flow, etc. and use the docs as
input for a accomdating cheatsheet ?
Just start with the simplest one first to see how much effort it is ?
