Below is what could be done within this issue. In installer: 1. I can check parent folders to make sure that selected folder is not part of EAP/SOA-P distribution and show request to adjust selected folder to EAP/SOAP 2. It is possible to add tray on the right side of dialog and show some documentation, but it is Swing application, so I'll have to implement it from scratch. In Eclipse: 1. Add validation for it in runtime wizard with documentation in doc tray on the right side of dialog 2. Add global validation that would create global error/warning markers for workspace if such problems are found for JBoss runtimes. Quick fix should be available for such error/warning markers to remove adjust path to server root dir. 3.
