Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-12974:
------------------------------------
If you need to have 1 site for core and 1 for soa, I would put shared framework stuff they
BOTH need (like bot ext stuff) into Core, and have SOA depend on Core, as if it were an
upstream target platform.
Sounds like the consensus (in another email thread) was to start a new github project to
house the soa integration tests separate from the core ones, which would solve the need to
segregate soa and core tests' sources.
So, therefore, we could:
* deprecate the old coretests site
* deprecate the old soatests site
* keep the current integrationtests site (which includes bot.ext)
* start a new soaintegrationtests site (which would reference the upstream
integrationtests site to allow installation / running of tests)
* create a composite site which contains both the latest soaintegrationtests and
integrationtests in a single URL

merge contents of coretests and soatests sites into new
integrationtests site (was: add missing IUs to coretests and soatests sites)

Key: JBIDE-12974
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-12974
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: testing, updatesite
Affects Versions: 4.0.0.Beta2
Reporter: Nick Boldt
Assignee: Martin Malina
Fix For: 4.1.0.Alpha1
The coretests [3] and soatests [4] sites are missing requirements/dependencies such as
org.jboss.tools.ui.bot.ext. For JBDS 6.1 / 7.0, that missing dep can be added if you open
a JIRA and specify what needs to be added. I might have to create a new feature to wrap
the missing content.

[4]

Are there any other missing IUs you need on those sites?
