I tried putting it after -vmargs, immediately after and also at the end of the .ini
configuration file. It always crashes when this argument is present.

Create Ionic myApp foloving instructions on http://ionicframework.com/getting-started/.
Import it using Thym Import Project and open www/index.html in visual editor. The result
is almost empty page
