This is my fault entirely; I have guided you in this direction. This needs to be 2 separate articles: 1. Deploy existing workspace apps to OpenShift Online - steps but then a little examination of what has changed in the project source code as a result of deploying it (.git dir, .openshift dir, ...) 2.
