since this seem to be happening often for users this should at least be figured out if we
need new API's to make this feasible after or during B1

The vast majority of operations that interact with the OpenShift REST service are
executed in background jobs so that the UI is not freezed. Thos background jobs dont react
to cancel requests for now. We have to allow them to be cancelled.
