Yes, it's not blinking now. But the selection bar is updated every time when the
cursor is moved. This significantly slows down the code navigation.
So, I'll try to improve the performance using described methods ('avoid updating
at all when nothing changed' and 'only update the part that actually
changes').

Open file in VPE and see that the location bar shows the "path" to the current
location (.e. ui:composition > rich:panel > ...etc)
Every time I move the cursor the location bar seem to be updated and causes
"blinking".
Could we::
1) avoid updating at all when nothing changed
2) only update the part that actually changes (to avoid redrawing of the non changed
parts)
