Michelle Murray created JBIDE-14567:
---------------------------------------
Summary: New OpenShift Application wizard unnecessarily prompts when
deselecting cartridges
Key: JBIDE-14567
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-14567
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: openshift
Affects Versions: 4.1.0.Beta1
Reporter: Michelle Murray
1. In OpenShift Explorer tab, right-click a connection and click 'New OpenShift
Application'.
2. From the embedded cartridges list, select the check box for the MySQL Database 5.1
cartridge.
3. Change your mind, so clear the check box for the cartridge.
4. A warning prompt is then displayed: 'You are about to remove ... Removing a
cartridge is not reversible ... Are you sure?'
The prompt seems unnecessary for the New OpenShift Application wizard. All I did was pick
a cartridge and then changed my mind. I haven't actually created the application yet
so where's the danger in removing a cartridge?
[Obviously, the prompt is entirely appropriate for existing applications when users choose
to edit the embedded cartridges.]
